Alex Julian Yoga offers yoga classes, private yoga instruction, corporate yoga, as well as yoga for the schools and athletic organizations. We offer outdoor yoga and nature yoga seasonally. Our other services include yoga personal training, yoga mentoring and coaching, yoga tutoring, as well as VIP yoga clubs.

 

The mission of Alex Julian Yoga is to empower, heal, inspire, connect, and uplift people through yoga, mindfulness meditation, resistance training, community, and education. In truth, we are all born enlightened, however most of us have forgotten. Alex Julian Yoga is here to remind you of your true essence and original state. That original state is enlightened. The process is reverse enlightenment.

There are many physical benefits of yoga, however there are even more mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits once we gain a better understanding of yogic philosophy. In this workshop, we explore the 8 petals of yoga, as well as how to relate to them and integrate them into daily living.

Nature Yoga

The Japanese healing art of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, is quickly becoming very popular in the United States. In essence, forest bathing is practicing mindfulness meditation in nature. It is absorbing yourself fully into the present moment through bathing your senses in the forest. There is a large amount of research that shows how beneficial forest bathing is for overall health. To name a few, forest bathing is proven to reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, promote mental clarity, and enhance empathy. Combine this with yoga, and you have an unbeatable wellness combination.

Mentoring & Coaching

 

All of the most successful people in life have or have had mentors. Having a mentor is the best way to learn. Before there was formal education, there was apprenticeship. Unfortunately, the educational system has never able to match the effectiveness of apprenticeship. The best way to learn is through doing and through osmosis -- absorbing the energy of a highly skilled practitioner or teacher through all of the senses. Learn from someone who is in the craft, as opposed to someone who merely just talks about it. If you are interested in growing deeper with yoga, consider acquiring a mentor.
